Glamis Trader's role

Glamis Trader supplies rental advertising, availability calendars and booking tools. The vehicle owner is the rental provider. Glamis Trader is not the vehicle owner, rental operator, agent for either party, insurer or party to the rental agreement. A platform booking records requested or confirmed dates; it does not replace a rental agreement between the owner and renter.

Payments and subscriptions

Glamis Trader does not receive, hold, process or distribute rental payments or deposits. Rental prices, deposits, refunds, taxes, fees and payment arrangements are agreed and handled directly between the owner and renter. Glamis Trader charges the owner a separate monthly advertising subscription per vehicle. That subscription is not a rental payment, rental commission, insurance premium or security deposit. Posting subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, at the price shown during subscription checkout. Cancelling renewal leaves the current paid period intact; it does not cancel rental bookings or resolve obligations between owners and renters.

Owner responsibilities

The owner must have authority to rent the vehicle, describe it accurately, keep availability current, and comply with applicable laws. The owner is responsible for vehicle condition, inspections, maintenance, lawful operation, required licences and permits, appropriate insurance, renter eligibility, safety instructions and equipment, rental agreements, pickup and return arrangements, payments, deposits and cancellation terms. Owners must clearly disclose their rental requirements before booking.

Renter responsibilities

Renters must verify the vehicle, owner, insurance coverage, suitability, eligibility requirements and rental terms before proceeding. Renters are responsible for agreeing directly with the owner on payment, deposits, pickup, return, authorised use, safety and cancellations. A listing or booking confirmation is not a guarantee of safety, insurance coverage, vehicle condition or owner performance.

Availability and bookings

Both the start date and end date are reserved. Approval-based requests hold dates until the owner approves, declines or cancels them. Instant bookings confirm available dates automatically. Owners and renters can cancel through their account, but payment consequences and cancellation obligations remain subject to their separate agreement. The owner must block unavailable dates, including rentals arranged outside this website. Listing expiry or subscription cancellation does not automatically cancel an existing booking.

Risk, disputes and limits of responsibility

Off-road activities can involve serious injury, death and property damage. Owners and renters must assess and manage those risks directly. Glamis Trader does not inspect or certify vehicles, verify insurance or guarantee rental availability, safety, legality or performance. Owners and renters handle rental disputes, damage, loss, injuries, refunds and claims directly, with their insurers or through appropriate legal channels.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glamis Trader disclaims responsibility for the rental transaction and losses arising from the vehicle, its use, or the acts or omissions of an owner or renter. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, limits non-waivable rights, or excuses fraud, wilful misconduct or other conduct for which liability cannot be disclaimed.

Booking information

When a renter submits a booking, their account name, email, contact phone and message are shared with the owner to arrange the rental. The owner's account name and email are shared with the renter. Public calendars show unavailable dates without exposing renter contact details. The platform records acceptance of these terms and retains the owner's terms associated with each request.

Platform moderation

Glamis Trader may remove or suspend listings that violate platform rules or appear unsafe, misleading or unlawful. Listing moderation does not make Glamis Trader the rental provider or establish that any listing has been inspected or approved for safety.
